Fordham Theatre Department

Dear Prospective Theatre Student:

Thank you for your interest in Fordham’s Theatre Program.  The Fordham University Theatre Program is highly regarded as one of the most outstanding B.A. theatre training programs in the country. The program combines the intimacy of a small conservatory with an exceptional liberal arts education and the rich resources and opportunities available in the world capital of the performing arts. Located at Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC), in the heart of New York City and within walking distance of the Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre districts, the Fordham University Theatre Program is chaired by two-time Obie Award-winner Matthew Maguire. All faculty members are working theatre professionals who help students develop their skills in an intimate and personal atmosphere.

Please note that an audition or interview is required of all students applying to Fordham University as a Theatre Major. Please follow the links on this website to find out more about the theatre program and this year’s audition/interview process.

Any questions regarding admission, housing, financial aid, and acceptance notification can be addressed to the Lincoln Center Office of Undergraduate Admission at 212-636-6710.
