Fordham Mainstage, Spring 2014
The Fordham Theatre Program is a B.A. that offers four pre-professional tracks for Theatre majors: Performance, Design & Production, Playwriting, and Directing. On the graduate level, our program offers an MFA in playwriting. Entrance into all tracks, and the MFA, is highly competitive, and in addition to applying to the university, requires:
PERFORMANCE TRACK: An audition
DESIGN & PRODUCTION TRACK: An interview and portfolio review
PLAYWRITING TRACK: An interview and a review of writing samples
DIRECTING TRACK: An interview and portfolio review (portfolio review is optional)
MFA PLAYWRITING: An interview and portfolio review
The program also offers a Theatre Minor which does not require an audition or interview.
Please follow the appropriate link above for detailed admission information on your intended track. Please remember, you must register for your Theatre Audition or Interview no later than December 14. You do not need to wait until you submit your application to register for an audition. The deadline for the Common Application has been extended to November 8, 2013.
