Reg Kim received his A.B. from the University of California, Berkeley in History where he wrote his thesis on early Christianity.  His doctoral work has focused on early medieval biblical exegesis and gender and identity construction.  His research attempts to negotiate the reception of late antique Christian texts and the production of Carolingian commentaries.  He has taught courses in Byzantine Christianity and Early Christian Writings.  This fall, he will be teaching Faith and Critical Reason.
