Systematic Theology
Fordham M.A. and Ph.D. students in Systematic Theology enter into a dynamic community of inquiry with faculty members at the forefront of their fields of research and teaching. Seminars focus on subjects such as theologies of God and Christ, liberation and feminist theologies and ethics, contemporary ecclesiologies, Orthodox theology, philosophical theology, liturgical theology, and Catholic social thought. Graduate students complement broad, ecumenically and interreligiously oriented theological training with their own unique areas of concentration and research. In Fordham’s graduate theology program, students become part of a collegial atmosphere based on the commitment to forming and being "scholar-teachers" who contribute to the theory and practice of contemporary theology.
