Curriculum Vitae

Christine E. McCarthy is a doctoral candidate and teaching fellow in systematics and ethics in the Department of Theology at Fordham University. Her research interests include fundamental moral theology, Catholic Social Teaching, and feminist social ethics with secondary interests in theological aesthetics and religious difference. She is also a member of the Community of Sant’Egidio in New York City, an ecumenical prayer and service organization under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Church. When not reading, writing and teaching, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, running and swimming, cooking good food, building community, and otherwise enjoying her hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
