Systematic theology

Systematic Theology

The Systematic Theology section offers a wide variety of courses in the areas of Fundamental Theology, Moral Theology/Christian Ethics, and Systematics proper. Systematics at Fordham includes reflection on the philosophical presuppositions of faith and on theological method, as well as on questions of God, Christ, human existence, and the church. Our theological reflection is carried on in the light of the Christian and especially the Roman Catholic tradition, in dialogue with the concerns of the pluralistic contemporary world.

We invite you to explore our faculty pages to discover the varied interests represented in the section and to get an idea of the many possibilities for studies within systematics.
