Religion or Theology?
Although closely related, Religious Studies and Theology represent independant branches of study. The Religious Studies program is an interdisciplinary program which investigates the roles, meanings, history and phenomenology of religion. Students interested in Religious Studies can follow this link for more information. Theology represents the study of the nature of God and religious truth from the perspective of the Christian faith. Fordham's theology department offers a wide range of courses. Students can study the Bible, Christian texts, and issues within modern theological studies (such as the nature of God and feminist theology).
