The Transatlantic Graduate Research Program Berlin-New York: 
History & Culture of the Metropolis in the Twentieth Century

The Transatlantic Graduate Research Program Berlin-New York is an interdisciplinary cooperation between the Technical University Berlin, the Free University, and Humboldt University in Germany and Fordham University, Columbia University, and the City University of New York in the United States.

The graduate program has three primary goals:
(1) To encourage interdisciplinary and comparative research on 20th century European and North American urban areas as well as to study today's metropolitan problems.
(2) To advance the result-oriented and interdisciplinary work of international scholars in metropolitan areas.
(3) To build cooperation among universities in order to further collaboration between related field of research and to support a transatlantic dialogue.

This program is open to graduate students in all urban disciplines at Fordham University. Students have the opportunity to study in Berlin in order to complete field work and the research for their Master's Thesis or Ph.D. Dissertation.

Metropolitan Studies Program, University of Amsterdam

The Research Master Metropolitan Studies Program offers a two-year curriculum of study on the city and metropolitan experience. This program is open to graduate students in all urban disciplines at Fordham University. Students have the opportunity to study in Amsterdam for a semester or academic year in order to complete field work and the research for their Master's Thesis.
