Fordham University Science Council Membership
Council Members engage in a broad range of activities. They are invited to:
- Mentor students and young alumni;
- Prepare students and young alumni for interviews;;
- Provide opportunities for research partnerships and internships;
- Bring cutting-edge knowledge from industry into the classroom;
- Liaise with scientific institutions, including hospitals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies;
- Serve as advisors to the University’s deans and faculty;
- Secure in-kind gifts of instruments and assist with research grants; and
- Give through personal support.
Council Members are also invited to participate in a rich
calendar of events throughout the year, engaging with fellow alumni, Fordham administrators, faculty, and students.
