CDT Carlie McKenzie
My experience at Fordham Army ROTC has helped me shape my life into what I dreamt it could be. Moving to New York from Montana was a tough thing to do on my own, but ROTC has helped me to hone my leadership skills, management skills, and increase my confidence, to be a successful nursing student at Pace University. Joining ROTC has helped me change my life for the better and it has helped me in pursuing my dreams of having a great nursing job, traveling, and being able to serve and help those who have fought for our country.

My experience in the Fordham Army ROTC has made me realize the type of person I want to be.I have encountered challenges that I never thought I would ever encounter. With the help of my instructors and fellow Cadets, I have met these challenges and conquered them with a strength I never knew I had inside me.I have grown as a person and gained more perspective than the average college student.I cannot imagine my life without the personal development that I have experienced at my time with Fordham ROTC.
CDT ANGEL TORRES
I had always considered a career in the military during my time in high school. Upon graduating, my English teacher introduced me to the Army ROTC program. I saw an opportunity which would not only train me to be an officer in the military but allow me to obtain a college degree as well. I am able to gain valuable experience managing people and resources as an Army Officer while working in the civilian world to gain a Forensic Science Degree at John Jay College. So far, my experience with the Ram Battalion has been both educational and inspiring. It is one that I will treasure now and for the rest of my life.
