matters of the heart art exhibit

Exhibit runs from May 31 - June 14 in the lobby
Artist Reception on Thursday, June 6 from 3-5pm

"Matters of the HeART" features original multimedia art created by Westcehster County seniors who are over the age of 55. This annual exhibit is co-sponsored by the Helen Andrus Benedict Foundation.  Matters of the HeART provides a unique opportunity for older artists and the public to celebrate and support creative aging through the arts.  Many pieces in the show are for sale.  A donation from all sales goes to the Arts and Culture Committee for support of its activities.  The exhibit is open to the public every day during normal hours of operation.  The public is also invited to attend an artist reception on Thursday, June 5 from 3-5pm to meet the artists.

VETERANS WRITING WORKSHOP SUMMER SESSION
10 Tuesdays starting June 11 - Free of Charge to all U.S. Veterans
The Veterans Writing Workshop gives veterans the tools and confidence they need to bring their stories to life.  
Veterans will meet once a week for valuable peer support and feedback.  
If you are a veteran interseted in finding a supportive community of writers to hlep you tell your story, we encourage you to join us.

ACCELERATED MASTER'S PROGRAM IN 
EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION AND SUPERVISION (AMPEL)

The Graduate School of Education is seeking bright, motivated PK-12 teachers/counselors with leadership potential for admission to Cohort II of AMPEL, an intensive one-year master's degreeprogram in educatinoal administration and supervision that will prepare future school leaders and qualify graduates to take the New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Certification Examination.  Classes conveniently held on the Westchester campus.
