The admission review for the incoming freshman class of 2017 proved to be an historic one as the trend of increasing applications to Fordham continued for the 22nd consecutive year. 
 

Each application is reviewed very carefully, taking into consideration a variety of important factors, both academic and extracurricular, to ensure that we reach a thoughtful, informed decision. Please know that your application was reviewed in this thorough fashion. We’re confident that most of our applicants would succeed at Fordham, and we regret not being able to offer admission to many outstanding candidates given limitations in both the classrooms and residential facilities.

The following information is important to review as you contemplate next steps.

§  All decisions are final regardless of undergraduate college or major. You cannot be considered for another academic program for this admission cycle.

§  Students applying to Dance and Theatre programs were evaluated on both academic and artistic merits.

§  The Office of Undergraduate Admission will consider transfer applicants for both the fall and spring semesters.
