We will do all we can to assist you in this process. As an admitted student, the following links and information will help you finalize your financial aid package, apply for loans and plan for the future. Complete your financial aid requirements
Start by reviewing this helpful checklist.
You must first claim your account at My.Fordham.edu
1. Click on First time users. Read and accept the Fordham University account claim process policy.
- First Name as spelled on your Fordham ID
- Last Name as spelled on your Fordham ID
- Last 5 digits of SSN
- DOB in mm/dd/yyyy format (e.g. 12/06/1991)
- Zip code of your permanent address
2. If everything matches, proceed to the next step
If there is an issue with the information provided, user receives an error message; the user cannot continue with the claim process, you must contact the Help Desk 718-817-3999
3. Answer 3 of the 6 questions posed and, as an option, enter in your cell phone number and cell carrier
4. Create a password using the criteria provided, the password must include one number, a mix of upper and lower case letters and must be at least 8 characters long (e.g. 09Fordham)
5. The user is provided a User ID which should match the first part of your Fordham email address
