CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK
Before you can access the university network, you must have:
- Install the latest critical updates and patches for your Operating System.
(see security tip #1)
- Install Symantec Anti-Virus if you don’t already have an approved anti-virus software. (see security tip #3)
- Update your anti-virus with the latest virus signatures
(To keep anti-virus signatures up to date Symantec uses Live Update)

- During move in to the dorms there will be assistance with computer setup and network connection by the Tiger Team students. If you are using a hard wired connection you MUST bring an ethernet cable to connect the wall jack to your CPU.
