The Fordham University Sailing Association exists to support the University and the student athletes on the sailing team and to advance the efforts and goals of the program. Members of the Fordham University Sailing Association do this by making an annual financial contribution to the sailing team.

How is the team doing?
Since its return to intercollegiate competition in 2000, the sailing team has been ranked 26-20-17-12-13 in its 42-school conference. In the spring of 2005, Fordham finished in 11th place. Please visit the team website at: www.fordham.edu/athletics/sailing for additional information.
What does the University provide the team?
Currently, the University annually provides $5,000 in financial support or approximately one-third of its annual expenses. Fund raising by both the sailing team and the Fordham University Sailing Association make up the difference. In addition, the University negotiates a reasonable rate for the team chaperone and the leased vehicles used on away trips.
