Student Testimonial
“As a part of the April ’08 President’s Council HEOP Mentoring Luncheon, alumnus and President’s Council member Joseph Skrzypczak was assigned to me as my mentor. Joe has been in contact with me since then on frequent basis, and was able to help me secure interviews at both PWC and Deloitte. Recently, I received an offer from PWC. I have to say that the mentoring really works, and I feel thankful Fordham has partnered with HEOP to create such a great opportunity for students to build their careers. I really hope one day I will sit on the seat that Joe sat, allowing me to give back to Fordham and its students.”

Council Attorneys Share Insights With Fordham's Pre-Law Society
President's Council attorneys Jerry Crotty, President of Weichert Enterprise, Vince Cappucci, Partner of Entwistle & Cappucci, and Bill Toppeta, President for International Operations of MetLife, returned to campus on October 22 to discuss the value of a legal education with Fordham's Pre-Law Society. Sharing a career's worth of wisdom garnered both inside and outside of the field of law, the Council members offered their opinions on whether it is best for the students to go straight to law school or pursue other goals first; discussed how their Fordham education impacted their success in law school and beyond; shared the various directions their careers took after law school; and simply answered whether attending law school today is worth the investment (the answer was a resounding "yes!").
