The following donor testimonial of President's Council member Michael Davidson appeared in the fall 2008 issue of FORDHAM magazine — thanks Michael!
Michael Davidson, FCRH ’94, knows a thing or two about connecting people with the resources they need to succeed.
As a senior vice president and corporate workplace executive at Bank of America,
Michael has played a leading role in the strategic planning and development of Bank of
America Tower at One Bryant Park, the second tallest building in Manhattan and one of
the most environmentally friendly office towers in the world.
It is a job that comes naturally to him: He’s been helping Fordham graduates prepare
for success since his days at the University. An active member of the President’s Council,
which works in part to mentor Fordham’s young alumni, Michael also serves on the
Fordham College at Rose Hill Board of Visitors and is a regular media and liturgical
minister at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass at the University Church.
He recently established an endowed scholarship to benefit a Fordham senior who is
interested in pursuing a career in philanthropy or community service.
“The spirit of service, curiosity and scholarship is one that my family instilled,” he said, “and that blossomed during my years at Rose Hill.”
