Houlihan Park Dedicated

Houlihan Park, home of the Baseball Rams, replete with new press box and the latest in artificial turf, was dedicated on Sunday, April 9th, 2006 to a packed crowd before the Rams victory over Temple 2-0 and 6-2 in the double-header.

Jim Houlihan (CBA ’74) and his family have contributed $1 million to Fordham University’s baseball program to name the newly renovated baseball complex Houlihan Park at Jack Coffey Field.

“We’ve been very blessed to have had a lot of success,” said Houlihan, managing partner of the Houlihan-Parnes/ICAP Realty Advisors, LLC, who was raised and educated in the Bronx along with his three brothers and two sisters. “[This] is a way to give back to the baseball program and the old neighborhood.”
