Science Hall
The Science building at Marymount College of Fordham University in Tarrytown, overlooking the Hudson River, is a three-story brick structure with two lecture halls, eight biology labs and six chemistry labs. Laboratories have state-of-the-art teaching equipment (including Olympus microscopes, microscope cameras and DNA chemical analysis equipment) and instrumentation (including a NMR spectrometer and Infrared spectrophotometer). Two NSF grants funded a biopsychology lab for computer-interfaced neurophysiological recording and a molecular biology lab with a large refrigerated centrifuge. Faculty offices are located near the labs and a computer center is in the basement..
