RESEARCH INTERESTS

Lida Pigott Burney operates the Westchester County Pollen Assessment Station at the Calder Ecology Center, which provides daily pollen counts for over 300 allergy clinics, hospitals, and doctor’s offices in the New York area. She has over ten years of experience as a palynology technician, and has collaborated on many research projects concerned with airborne particle deposition, environmental history, and fire ecology.
