Excelsior | Ever Upward | The Campaign For Fordham

Rose hill Campus

Goal: $70 million  |  Raised to date: $54 million

New Home for the Gabelli School of Business
The renovation of Hughes Hall will permanently transform business education at Fordham. It will create an entirely new experience for students, faculty, alumni and businesspeople alike.

The plan includes an advanced trading room, a state-of-the-art 250-seat auditorium, nine classrooms with more than 40 seats each and four board/meeting rooms, among other first-rate learning spaces. It will bolster the Gabelli School’s longstanding reputation of academic excellence and innovative programs, while contributing to the training of ethical and socially responsible business leaders.

Campbell, Salice and Conley Residence Halls
Two new residence halls opened last fall and have transformed college life for 450 juniors and seniors at Rose Hill. The buildings foster communities of learning by incorporating conference rooms and classrooms, as well as apartments for faculty members. The buildings are structured in ways that are unique to the University's mission of promoting intellectual, social and spiritual development.

New Campus Center
The campus center will provide a spacious new home for the student community at Rose Hill. Students need a new, larger building appropriate to the expansion of the on-campus population in the past two decades. The new center will energize student life by providing ample space and a modern setting for a variety of extracurricular pursuits.

New Student Recreation Center
A new student recreation center will dramatically increase the number of exercise machines, weightlifting facilities, playing courts and other workout equipment available on the Rose Hill campus. As a result, students will find it easier to work out, constructively eliminate stress and cultivate the physical health that energizes their academic pursuits.

Science Facilities and Equipment
We will enhance our laboratories for biology, chemistry, physics and engineering, and make improvementsto the Louis Calder Center Biological Field Station in Armonk, N.Y. We will invest in advanced technology and scientific instruments, and bring new resources to the study of computer science and astronomy, one of the most popular science subjects among non-science majors.
