Michael Davidson, FCRH ’94
Michael Davidson is a 1994 alumnus of Fordham College at Rose Hill.
Michael Davidson, FCRH '94, prepares people to take on the world. As a senior vice president and workplace executive at Bank of America, Davidson is responsible for setting up the financial and technological infrastructure in the bank’s expanding real estate operations—most notably the new Bank of America Tower near Bryant Park.
It is a job that comes naturally to Davidson: he’s been helping Fordham graduates leave their mark on the world since his days at Rose Hill. A member of the President’s Council, which works in part to develop future alumni, and Fordham College at Rose Hill's Board of Visitors, Davidson recently established an endowed scholarship for graduating seniors and recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in philanthropy or community service.
The spirit of the scholarship, he said, is to encourage Fordham students to go out in the world and do that world a world of good.
“Community service and philanthropy are not exactly monetarily rewarding,” explained Davidson. “This is a chance for Fordham graduates to pursue a life devoted to helping others.”
