FORDHAM KIWANIS MASQUERADE GALA A SUCCESS DESPITE WEATHER
Thank you to everyone who attended the gala on Saturday, October 29. Despite the winter weather, the gala was attended by over 60 people. The club presented Gerogi with a Kiwanis Zeller Fellowship Award representing a donation to the Eliminate Campaign to help save the protect 700 babies and mothers from maternal and neo-natal tetanus. FORDHAM KIWANIS RECYCLE SERVICE PROJECT
Fordham Kiwanis invites its members to donate your unused (new or old) pens, pencils and markers. For each donated items, TERRACYCLE BRIDGADE in association with the initiative set up by the Office of University Procurement and Staples Advantage will done $.02 to the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY in the name of FORDHAM KIWANIS. Start a collection box in your office. When full, send your unused pens, pencils and markers to Shonda Nesbitt, President of Fordham Kiwanis in Faculty Memorial Hall, Room 131 with a notation for "Fordham Kiwanis."


UNICEF/KIWANIS PARTNERSHIP LAUNCHED
Fordham Kiwanis is proudto announce that Sister Anne-Marie Kirmse, OP, Research Associate for the McGinley Chair has been appointed as the New York State Kiwanis District Coordinator for this UNICEF/Kiwanis project over the next five years. Click here for more information.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOMAS DEJULIO
who was elected vice president of Kiwanis International at the International Convention in Las Vegas in June. DeJulio, is past New York governor and past International Trustee, and his election means DeJulio will serve as President of Kiwanis International in 2012-13.
