Timesheet frequently asked questions

Q.     I failed to submit my timesheet and missed the timesheet submission deadline. What should I do?

A.     Have your supervisor send an email to payrollinfo@fordham.edu requesting a timesheet for the period missed. The email should include your Name,      Fordham ID# and payroll dates that need to be processed.


Q.     I failed to start my timesheet and missed the timesheet submission deadline. What should I do?

A.     Have your supervisor send an email to payrollinfo@fordham.edu requesting a timesheet for the period missed. The email should include your Name, Fordham ID# and payroll dates that need to be processed.


Q.   I submitted my timesheet and need to add additional hours. 

A.    If the payroll submission deadline has not passed, open up your timesheet, click on return time and make the necessary adjustments. If the payroll is closed out, your supervisor will need to email payrollinfo@fordham.edu regarding the matter. 


Q.   I was recently set up in the system and was not able to enter hours for the pay period. 

A.    Have your supervisor send an email to payrollinfo@fordham.edu requesting a timesheet for the period missed. The email should include your Name, Fordham ID# and payroll dates that need to be processed. 


Q.   The approver on my timesheet is incorrect. 

A.    Have your supervisor email payrollinfo@fordham.edu and request timesheet approver change. The email should include your Name, Fordham ID # and assignment number. 


Q.  I do not have an Employee Tab. 

A.  Have your Supervisor contact HRIS to discuss any possible paperwork discrepancies. Once HRIS has all of the proper documentation, they will be able to restore your employee role and you will see the tab. 


Q.  My timesheet does not list the full 2 week period. 

A.  Contact payroll and verify your assignment end date. Your department will have to submit an Employee Action Form to the HRIS to extend your assignment. Once this is complete, in order to see the full 2 week period, you must hit the Restart button on your timesheet.


Q.   My Supervisor will be away and cannot sign my timesheet. 

A.    If your Supervisor is going to be away, they must set up a timesheet proxy. For assistance, call the Payroll Department.
