Description of Public Spaces With Capacities and Cost/Day

Conference Center 
  Accommodates 150 people in lecture or theater-style seating or 40 people in hollow square seating.  It is also designed to host banquets and receptions.  A cocktail reception for 200 people may be held.  Banquet seating for a buffet dinner can accommodate 108 people at 18 rectangular tables for 6 or 150 people at 15 round tables for 10.  Rectangular tables are provided by facilities at no charge while round tables are rented from Sodexho.   May be used  for cocktails and dinner or for a sit-down dinner for 200 people or for a cocktail reception for 275 people. Catering in the 12th Floor Lounge must be arranged with Sodexho.  These rooms have wireless Internet Connection.  Lounge  is a Smart Room.  ($6000)
  This room has a conference table and seating for 18 to 20 people.  It is appropriate for a conference or meeting with continental breakfast service, a buffet or sandwich lunch.  There are 2 tables for food service.  This is a Smart Room.  This room does not have a sound system.  Catering must be arranged with Sodexho.  ($3000)
  A maximum of 4 tables with 2 chairs per table may be set up on the Plaza for exhibits, etc.  Student clubs and large fairs may set up a maximum of 16 tables with approval from Conference Services.  ($35 per table)
  This room is reserved for senior University Administrators and Deans with special approval through the Office of Conference Services.  A conference table seats 36 people with 10 to 12 additional chairs around the perimeter of the room.  There are 2 tables for food service.  This room has no sound system.  Catering must be arranged with Sodexho.  This room has wireless Internet connection.  ($3000)
  This room, at the rear of the cafeteria, seats 50 people lecture-style with a speaker’s table and/or lectern.  Hollow square seating will accommodate 25 people.  Audio/visual equipment may be requested through Media Services at x 6313.  External groups request A/V equipment through the Office of Conference Services.  ($850)
  The Pope Auditorium can seat a maximum of 400 people in theater seating using risers.  This large auditorium is appropriate for conferences and lectures.  During the academic year, reservations are made around the schedule of theater productions, Theater Department blackouts, graduations, etc.  In the summer there may be more options for banquet service or other large events in this space.  ($6000)
ROOM 614
  This conference room/classroom will seat 40 people around tables with chairs.  First preference is given to the Graduate School of Business, but other departments may reserve the room when available.  Contact the Faculty Center in the Graduate School of Business Administration, x 6004.  ($500)

Lowenstein Classrooms and Cost/Day

Classrooms range from small rooms holding 15 to large rooms with 75 seats.  The average classroom seats approximately 35 people.  Food and beverages are prohibited on the 3rd floor and in all other Smart classrooms.  Please keep in mind that classroom space in Lowenstein is extremely limited on school days, Monday through Friday. ($300 for Level I and $500 for Smart Classrooms)
