MAJOR PROJECTS AT FORDHAM
Fordham has pledged to build all new facilities to a minimum standard of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver. LEED, a designation of the United States Green Building Council, certifies that a building has met stringent energy and environmental standards. Currently, two new dormitories at the Rose Hill campus meet the LEED Silver standard. The new Law School and dormitory planned for the Lincoln Center campus are on a similar design path.
HUGHES HALL

The renovation of Hughes Hall will permanently transform business education at Fordham. It will create an entirely new experience for students, faculty, alumni and businesspeople alike. Hughes Hall, a five-story building at the heart of the Rose Hill campus, will become a dedicated Gabelli School of Business building that provides:
Abundant Space for classes, networking events, special learning exercises and informal chats;
New Features, such as Smart classrooms, a state-of-the-art Information and Media Technology Center, multiple conference rooms and common areas, and a 144-seat auditorium; and
A Competitive Advantage, since the best prospective students and faculty look for integrated, well-appointed facilities that foster interaction and opportunities for learning.

THE NEW LAW SCHOOL

Total instructional space will more than double at Lincoln Center to 36,650 square feet. A stunning 60,940 square-foot library will ensure students may find not only the resources they need, but also a range of opportunities to engage with one another in ways that enhance their learning and their sense of community.

CAMPBELL, SALICE, CONLEY HALLS

The new halls consist of four towers in two buildings on the southwest side of the campus near Fordham Road. Unlike typical university dormitories, CSC offers “urban lifestyle” housing with modern amenities and technologies.
Fordham’s first LEED-certified Gold buildings, the new halls offer several living arrangements. Apartments are designed to house four students in four single rooms or two double rooms; five students in five single rooms; or six students in three double rooms. More than half of the rooms offer single occupancy.
The apartments are fully furnished and boast air conditioning, climate control within apartments and kitchens equipped with dishwashers and microwaves.
