Fordham to Host Conference for Social Good Entrepreneurs

Fordham will host a daylong conference that brings together New Yorkers who want to improve the lives of their neighbors and communities through entrepreneurial solutions.

MakeImpactNYC 2014: Do Good in Your ‘Hood, is co-sponsored by Good-B.com, an online news and new media platform that supports entrepreneurs for social good, and the Fordham School of Business’ Center for Humanistic Management.

The conference, which is being billed as an “Five boroughs, one city, endless impact” event, will feature participants from Etsy, CBS/EcoMedia, Girls Who Code, Centre for Social Innovation, Pratt Institute, Fordham B-School, Good Business NY, Return on Change, ThatMattersLive, Locavesting, HelpChipIn, InfluencerCon, Silicon Harlem, Fundrise, Be Social Change, Staten Island Makers Space, and The Kitchen.

The goal is to bring together entrepreneurs and innovators from every part of New York City who are helping to build a new social impact economy.
