The Fordham University women’s basketball team has released its 2007-2008 schedule that features three doubleheaders with the men’s team and a televised game against Duquesne University at the Rose Hill Gymnasium.

Fordham’s regular season opens on the road with the annual Battle of the Bronx game against Manhattan College on Nov. 11. The Rams play their first of 15 home games on Nov. 14, as they host Marist College, one of two NCAA Sweet Sixteen teams on the schedule.

This year, Fordham will also host the inaugural Holiday Tournament at the Rose Hill Gymnasium on Dec. 29 and 30. It will be the first regular-season tournament Fordham has hosted since 1990. The teams in the tournament are Mount St. Mary’s College, Troy University and Fairfield University.

The Rams will have the first of three doubleheaders with the Fordham men’s team on Jan. 19 in a game against La Salle University. The other doubleheaders will take place on Feb. 23 at Temple University and on Feb. 27 against the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The women’s team will be featured on CSTV on Jan. 27 in a home game against Duquesne.

Season tickets are available by calling the Fordham Ticket Office at (718) 817-4300. Individual tickets will soon be on sale and may be purchased at the Fordham Ticket Office or online at www.fordhamsports.com.
