In a blighted section of North Camden, N.J., Fordham student volunteers don’t have to look far to find the presence of a higher power.
This year, GO! visits Camden and 32 other localities worldwide, bringing nearly 400 undergraduates face-to-face with the meaning of faith in, love for, and solidarity with communities that have been marginalized.

GSE Joins Effort to Revamp Education Doctorate
A new initiative in the Graduate School of Education’s Division of Educational Leadership, Administration,
and Policy (ELAP) could bring extensive changes to one of the school’s doctoral programs.
In September, ELAP was accepted into the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED), a national effort to revamp the education doctorate, or Ed.D.

Did You Know?
One of the oldest American Elm trees in New York City has its home on the Rose Hill campus. The 270-year-old tree could live for another 60 years or more, according to James D. Lewis, Ph.D., associate professor of biology and Magis Fellow. Fordham has the largest stand of American Elm trees of any urban area in the country.
