Paul Levinson, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Fordham, read from his latest science fiction novel, The Pixel Eye (Tom Doherty Associates, 2003), in Bryant Park on June 28.
The setting, adjacent to the New York Public Library, was apropos as the novel’s protagonist, forensic detective Dr. Phil D’Amato, spends time in the park and part of the action takes place in the Grace Building, directly across the street.
Levinson’s reading was part of the Bryant Park Word for Word lunchtime series.
