Class of 2010 Highly Selective,
Highly Prepared for Success
Before they even stepped on campus, the students of Fordham University’s Class of 2010 had big shoes to fill. “We’re so happy to see the new freshmen come, it comforts us on the loss of our senior class,” said Robert Grimes, S.J., dean of Fordham College at Lincoln Center. “This freshman class has a lot to live up to.”

Graduate School of Education Nets $4.5 Million in Grants
The New York State Education Department has awarded Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education $4.5 million in contracts for two Bilingual Education Technical Assistance Centers (BETACs) to serve more than 51,300 students in grades K-12 in the Bronx and Lower Hudson Valley.

Feerick Center for Social Justice and Dispute Resolution Opens at Fordham Law
Fordham University’s School of Law opened the Feerick Center for Social Justice and Dispute Resolution on July 1, bringing under one roof a spectrum of legal and social justice work, ranging from policy formation and dispute resolution to direct legal services to the poor. The newly established center is named for the family of John D. Feerick, J.D., Sidney C. Norris Professor of Law, who serves as its executive director.
