Sun Shines on Class of 2011

 
Fordham’s Class of 2011 received a sunny sendoff on May 21 at the Rose Hill campus with an address from NBC anchor Brian Williams that was by turns comic and heartfelt.

Noting that the ceremonial diploma he received on the steps of Keating Hall was blank, Williams said, “Your diplomas are blank, too, regardless of what’s written in them. You have to fill them in with the love and work of a lifetime.”

Fordham College at
Rose Hill Celebrates
Campaign Progress

With $22 million of a $25 million goal already achieved, Fordham College at Rose Hill publicly joined the University’s comprehensive fundraising campaign on May 12.

His Eminence Theodore Cardinal McCarrick, Ph.D. (FCRH ’54), archbishop emeritus of Washington, D.C., was the featured speaker at the kickoff dinner, which was held in Duane Library.
