Author Higgins Clark Says
Fordham Boosted Confidence

Author Mary Higgins Clark (FCLC ’79) told a crowd of roughly 300 fans and admirers that her Fordham education, which she undertook after some success as a writer, helped sharpen her literary skills and build self-confidence.

The internationally renowned best-selling author, known as the “Queen of Suspense,” lectured Tuesday, March 4 on “Life After Fordham” as part of the United Student Government’s Fordham Week celebration

Foundation Grants
$2 Million to Fund Law Building, Moot Courtroom

The Gorman Foundation has announced it will donate $2 million to help fund a new Fordham Law building and establish the Owen T. Gorman Moot Courtroom. The family foundation, named for the late Alice M. and Owen T. Gorman, LAW ’29, is located in Sherrill, N.Y., and was established in January 2003 with a bequest from Alice M. Gorman.
