President Bill Clinton Speaks at Law Forum

President Bill Clinton joined Thane Rosenbaum, the John Whelan Distinguished Lecturer in Law at Fordham Law School, for a wide- ranging conversation at the Time Warner Center on April 19.

The event was sponsored by Fordham Law School’s Forum on Law, Culture & Society, and marked the first time since 1969 that a current or former U.S. president made an appearance at a Fordham event.

“In terms of attendance, this Forum event topped both the 2010 Forum Film Festival screening with Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Conversation with Alec Baldwin,” said Rosenbaum. “Tickets sold out in under 30 minutes, and Forum fans filled two of Time Warner’s auditoriums while nearly 1,000 joined the waitlist for a chance to hear President Clinton.”
