Computer Services is comprised of the Research & Development and Computer Operations. Computer Services is responsible for continued development, management and maintenance of Fordham's centralized computing environment. Their responsibilities encompass all centrally managed systems residing at Rose Hill, Lincoln Center, and 33 West 60th Street. With a staff of 10, Computer Services supports close to 200 Windows based servers, 6 OpenVMS legacy systems, and a plethora of security platforms.
 
These entities are continually engaged in the development and implementation of the latest technologies and, as such, will place Fordham University in a leadership position in technology among American universities.

Research and Development and Operations are jointly charged with the daily operational tasks of the enterprise, such as maintaining IT business continuity, data distribution, and availability, as well as front line triage and support of centralized systems.
