What We Do

Backups
We are now utilizing state-of-the-art robotics for daily backup tasks at all three campuses.  

Printing

We maintain line printing capacity at both Rose Hill and Lincoln Center bringing our black and white laser printing capacity to over 13000 pages per hour.

Backup Schedule

The Computer Operations Department maintains information regarding its backup schedule on ecampus.fordham.edu for those with appropriate privileges to review.

Requests For Backups

All newly requested server backups will require that a REQUEST FOR BACKUP form is filled out and submitted. Please visit ecampus.fordham.edu, login and then click on WELCOME area and choose the Backup Request item from the pull-down list. Your application will be submitted to Operations and you will be notified when additional information is required or when your backup has been added as a permanent part of the schedule.

Restore of Files

We currently ask that all restores of files or entire server requests be made by calling the University Help Desk at 718-817-3999.

We are always available to our users for special requests. Please call 718-817-1400 for details. Our staff will be happy to field your request.
