Sungard Announces De-support of Banner 7
This past January, Sungard Higher Education announced the future release of Banner 9 for Spring 2010. Coinciding with this announcement was the additional news that Sungard would no longer support Banner 7 after September 1, 2010. This deadline gives Sungard's Banner 7 clients, including Fordham University, an appropriate amount of time to adjust accordingly. The University currently is actively planning an upgrade to Banner 8. The upgrade target date is set for February 2010 and will require support from Academic Affairs, Enrollment Services, Finance, HR and IT to be successful.
