The following is the lost/stolen Blackberry procedure. If you have any questions regarding the procedure, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If your Blackberry is lost or stolen, notify IT Customer Care immediately at HelpIT@fordham.edu.
- Message Redirection to the device will be suspended via the Blackberry Enterprise Server [BES].
- For Lost Blackberry - A remote LOCK will be executed on the device to prevent unintentional usage.
- For Stolen Blackberry - A remote WIPE command will be executed on the device to clear all data from the device. The service provider will be contacted to suspend all services to the device.
