Fordham University VPN

For additional information, please see the VPN Frequently Asked Questions.

The Fordham Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a tool that allows users to access specific network resources while off campus or on the public wireless network (FORDHAMRH & FORDHAMLC). The VPN provides a secure connection to Fordham’s network. Once the connection is established, your computer is considered a member of the Fordham campus network.  You can then run your applications as you normally would, as securely as if you were on campus.

Applications currently available via the VPN are Magic Service Desk Express, Ellucian International Student Management System, Banner Workflow, and Library resources requiring Fordham affiliation and certain Administrative Systems.

For VPN service, you will be required to authenticate yourself by using your AccessIT ID and password to sign in. The VPN is designed for use with a high speed (broadband) Internet connection.

Please note that any required maintenance of the VPN application and servers will be performed during Fordham IT's standing maintenance window.

Connecting to the VPN

Please select the platform on which you would like to connect to the VPN and follow the instructions listed to begin using the VPN application. The guides are available on the online documentation page under VPN.
