Message to Faculty, Staff and Guests - April 15, 2013
 
The Advancement, Human Resource, Finance and Student Information Systems (Banner) will be unavailable from 1:00AM through 2:00AM Monday April 15, 2013 due to maintenance.


During this time both Self-Service Banner (SSB) and Internet Native Banner (INB) will be unavailable.  This includes student registration, class schedules, transcript requests, available courses, on-line payments, Advancement, Finance, HR and Banner reporting, etc.


The University portal, My.Fordham.edu will be available during this time, as will all non-Banner services accessible via the portal, such as E-mail, Degreeworks, Blackboard, etc.

Migration To Our Newly Renovated Data Center Communications Room  - March 14, 2013

As part of our migration to our newly renovated Data Center communications room, we will begin moving network equipment, which supports connectivity to the Data Center, on Thursday, March 14 from 9 p.m. to midnight.
 
Please be advised that this will result in a 5-minute connectivity loss in McGinley Center, JMH and Walsh Hall for community members using services, such as VoIP, WiFi, Security Cameras and Cable TV.

Security Patch To Be Applied To The Wireless Network - March 13, 2013

As part of our regular, ongoing efforts to protect the Fordham community from IT security threats, we will apply a security patch to the wireless network on Wednesday, March 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please be advised that this will result in intermittent loss of Internet connectivity for those members of the Fordham community (all campuses) who are online during this period of time.

Scheduled Maintenance To Ensure Consistently High Internet Connectiviity

As part of our scheduled maintenance to ensure consistently high internet connectivity, we are working with our Internet provider to make modifications to the primary and secondary routes that are used by Fordham University to access to the Internet.
 
Users on the Library Services system will experience a slight interruption in connectivity while the modifications are taking place on Friday night at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

ODS Outage: Tuesday November 20, 2012

On Tuesday November 20, 2012 beginning at 6:00PM and ending no later than 3:00PM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 there will be no access toODS (Operational Data Store).  ODS is Banner's reporting database that presents a snapshot of Banner data from 12:00AM daily.

All ODS driven reports that will be affected.

We thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to upgrade university systems.
