Fordham University's online bill-pay vendor, TouchNet, will be performing routine maintenance on servers in its DataCenter. During this time, there will be no access to the online bill-pay function. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

1:00 AM - 5:00 AM
To facilitate (a) the migration of academic history information for graduate students and (b) the implementation of the University's Emergency Contact Information review & update process for all students, there will be 2 separate outages of the University portal and all Banner services as detailed below.


Monday September 21, 2009 beginning at 1:00 AM and ending no later than 3:00 AM
  • Graduate student information migration.
  • NOT available during this time: Banner Self-Service (SSB) and Internet Native Banner (INB); [this includes student registration, financial aid, advancement, etc.]
  • Please note the University portal, My.Fordham.edu WILL be available during this time

    Monday September 21, 2009 beginning at 4:00 AM and ending no later than 5:00 AM
  • Implementation of the University's Emergency Contact Information review & update process for all students
  • NOT available during this time: My.Fordham.edu and all technology services accessible via My.Fordham.edu - including student e-mail, Banner Self-Service (SSB) and Internet Native Banner (INB); [this includes student registration, financial aid, advancement, etc.]
  • Cisco Clean Access (CCA). This includes login to the University's Wireless network in addition to the Residential Network.
  • The Fordham VPN (vpn.fordham.edu)

    1:00 AM - 5:00 AM
    The university's oldest telephone switch on the Rose Hill campus has been experiencing problems for several weeks. The problem results in certain offices losing the ability to dial-out (they are still able to receive calls).
    Telecommunications staff have employed several measures recommended by the telephone switch vendor to remediate the problem, none of which have restored telephone services for more than a few days. The vendor has now recommended that we completely power-down and power-up the switch. This process will take approximately 25-30 minutes, at which time there will be no phone service in the Rose Hill Residence Halls, in most of FMH and Keating as well as a majority of RH Faculty offices.
    Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to maintain the University's telephone service.

    In our continuing efforts to streamline access to technology services, effective Monday September 14, 2009 the following changes will take place:
    Student e-mail will only be available in the university portal, My.Fordham.edu via single sign-on using the AccessIT ID and Password. The following services will also be accessed using your AccessIT ID and Password:


    August 2009

    22 August
    7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    In order to facilitate the migration of Academic History Banner, both INB (Internet Native Banner) and SSB (Self-Service Banner) will be unavailable. During this outage period all Banner services will be unavailable e.g. Student Registration, Bill Payment, Faculty courses, and Housing.The University portal, My.Fordham.edu and access to all programs accessible via the portal will be available during this time.

    12 August
    6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

    To maintain business continuity of Rose Hill telephone services, we must perform necessary maintenance, which consists of migrating voice mail to a newer system.

    Although we expect no disruption in basic telephone service during this time, there will be a 5 minute shutdown of all phone systems in order to restore service to voice mail.  Additionally, the voice mail system will be unavailable during this time. Callers will hear continuous rings until the system comes back on-line, however no existing messages will be lost in the transition.


    July 2009

    4:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    To facilitate the upgrade of various Banner and portal components, there will be a scheduled outage of My.Fordham.edu related services including all Banner applications.

    During this event, My.Fordham.edu and all technology services accessible via My.Fordham.edu will not be available (including student registration, financial aid, advancement, etc.). Access to all student and course information prior to Fall 2009 will be available via OASIS and FacultyOASIS.

    Access to the Portal, Student E-mail, Faculty & Staff Web Mail, and E-Campus may be unavailable during this time.
    6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
    Primavera will be unavailable during this time.

    June 27-28 & July 01
    Due to the migration of academic records and student accounts receivables,Banner will be unavailable.
