Program to Improve Business Practices (PIBP)

Fordham University's Strategic Plan, Toward 2016, identifies enterprise-wide transformative changes that include all administrative functions, business practices, and processes in support of the Plan's goal to elevate Fordham to a position of preeminence among National Institutes of Higher Education. Our objective is identifying opportunities to modernize and streamline existing University business practices and processes, by collaborating with the functional owners of those processes and Fordham IT in planning and executing improvements.

The Program to Improve Business Practices is charged with overseeing the planning, oversight and execution of these transformative changes as well as assuring that cost management, customer service and management effectiveness opportunities are realized. Many University business processes will be streamlined with the introduction of the Enterprise Resource Planning initiative and the PIBP will monitor the successful implementation of these new processes.

Our plan is to make Fordham University a more effective and productive environment for all members of the University community. Fordham President Joseph McShane, S.J., introduced the Program with his introductory Memorandum to the University.
