Career Peer Advisor Program
The Career Peer Advising Program allows students to help others, while providing them with the skills necessary to excel in their own careers. A volunteer, leadership position on campus, the Career Peer Advisor position allows for tremendous opportunity for growth and personal discovery. Career Peer Advisors will jump right into to the world of Career Services. After receiving extensive training, Career Peer Advisors will hold office hours, three hours per week, where they will conduct resume and cover letter critiques and mock interviews. Additionally, Career Peer Advisors will plan and implement one workshop and lead a creative marketing campaign for one Career Services event each semester. To enhance their own professional development, Career Peer Advisors will attend a weekly staff development meeting. The application and interview process begins in the spring of each academic year.
If you are interested in becoming a Career Peer Advisor please contact Jon Liberatore at liberatore@fordham.edu or call 718-817-4358.
