Career Services offers a variety of events including Career Fairs, Workshops, Employer Presentations, Career Views and more. These events serve to educate Fordham students and connect them with employers and alumni.
Representatives from over a hundred major organizations visit the Fordham campus each year to recruit for internship and job opportunities. Career Fairs take place in both the fall and spring semesters, and are a great opportunity for students to network with employers from all industries in the profit, non-profit and government sectors.
The Office of Career Services encourages students to take advantage of CareerLink, a Fordham-exclusive job and internship database that features thousands of exciting career and internship opportunities. To utilize the system, students must complete the CareerLink Workshop Series, which contains four half-hour workshops on the World of Work, Resume & Cover Letter, Interview Skills, and Professional Dress & Etiquette.

Students are given an overview of the organization from a representative of the company, a tour of the facility and an opportunity to network with professionals. Students participating in this program are offered a firsthand introduction to the world of work and the culture of organizations.
Employers from various industries visit campus to conduct information sessions for students interested in pursuing a career in the employer field. Employer presentations are an opportunity to learn more about a particular company, gain information on career opportunities within an organization, and to network with professionals.
