Pre-doctoral Internship
Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship in University Mental Health at
CPS offers a full-time twelve-month pre-doctoral internship (non-APA accredited) at both our Rose Hill and
Interns will receive 2 hours of weekly individual supervision with staff psychologists as well as group supervision, and will be provided with additional supervision for co-leading groups and developing/implementing outreach activities. Interns participate in a weekly case conference meeting, staff/disposition meeting, and in various weekly seminars, including a multicultural seminar, a seminar related to providing supervision, and a seminar focusing on didactic topics concerning working with specific clinical populations, psychotherapy theory and process, and issues related to university mental health.
Applicants must be matriculated with an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical, counseling or school psychology. Additionally, all formal coursework, comprehensive examinations and practicum training must be completed prior to the start of the internship year.
