Mission and Vision Statements Mission Statement To provide young Latinas with a college Latina to be her friend; someone to confide in, look up to, and be inspired by when she thinks about her future; someone who, by being a role model, lets her know that by finishing high school and going on to college, she can maintain her cultural identity, surmount obstacles, succeed academically and build a bright future. Vision Statement Mentoring Latiinas envisions young Latinas who, recognizing the unique opportunity to live in two cultures, see the many possibilities the future holds and value educational attainment as a way to achieve their dreams.
