On September 28th and 29th, 2007 a behavioral pricing conference was held at Fordham University, dedicated to the contributions of Dr. Robert Schindler (Rutgers University - Camden) to Behavioral Pricing research.  Research related to the various aspects of pricing, from both academic and managerial perspectives was presented by various authors, with a focus on how buyers perceive, process and act on pricing information. Dr. Schindler in his keynote speech entitled "What Prices Reveal About the Mind" examined the complexities of the human cognitive system and how it contributes to predictable yet often irrational responses to prices.
