The College of Business Administration allows you to build your educational portfolio around a range of programs. One of our most popular areas of study is the G.L.O.B.E. (Global Learning Opportunities and Business Experiences) Program. This teaches students business skills and provides a broad understanding of the countries in which they may one day serve.

G.L.O.B.E. is designed to prepare students for multinational careers. Students will be required to achieve competence in one of the following fields: Accounting, Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Management of Information and Communication Systems, Management, or Marketing. Courses taught from an international perspective will be required.

Students will take at least two international courses in their concentration; become proficient in a language; gain an understanding of cultural differences by completing an internship; and/or study abroad. They will also fulfill their liberal arts and free elective requirements in various combinations to achieve this cultural expertise.

Students interested in this international specialization must obtain permission from the G.L.O.B.E. Dean's office, Faber Hall Room 352, to enroll in the program.

For students participating in this program, a notification will appear on their diploma and transcript, in cursu negotia agendi inter gentes, which means "the program for conducting business among nations."

Click here for the G.L.O.B.E. Specialization Declaration form.

If you have any questions, please visit Dean Catherine Einersen at Faber Hall, Rm 352, or E-mail her at ceinersen@fordham.edu.
