Michael A. Puglisi is a senior managing director and chief financial officer of the Blackstone Group L.P. Since joining Blackstone in 1994, in addition to serving on the firm’s management committee, Mr. Puglisi has had various financial, tax and administrative responsibilities, and he played a key role in effectuating Blackstone’s initial public offering in June 2007. Previously, he served in a variety of financial roles for certain U.S. operations of the Kuwait Investment Office. A member of the University’s President’s Council, Mr. Puglisi received a B.S. in accounting from Fordham’s College of Business Administration in 1972 and is a certified public accountant. He and his wife, Valerie, have two daughters.
