New York (June 10, 2005) – The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and students from Fordham University Schools of Business, will ring The Opening Bell™ of the New York Stock Exchange this Monday, June 13, 2005.
The Fordham students bested teams from seven other top area business schools to win the 3rd Annual Investment Research Challenge, which was held on April 21, 2005, at the offices of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Teammates Harsh Acharya, John Bitzer, Anita Erzetic, Michael Odell, and Jacek Trzepla will join NYSSA executive director Joan Shapiro Green, members of the NYSSA Board and executives from Challenge sponsor Goldman, Sachs & Co. on the podium for the bell ringing ceremony.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. was joined by CFA Institute and The Dreyfus Corporation as Gold Sponsors of this year’s Challenge.
