Year Apostolic Plan - 2006 - 2010 |
In
1994, the Metro NY CLC Council sponsored development of
and adopted a 5 Year Apostolic Plan. The Plan was designed
to provide a prioritised framework of focus for Metro Council
activities. The plan communicated our most important organizational
initiatives aimed at fostering the spiritual growth of our
members as well as the role of the CLC in the wider community.
The preliminary 2006 5-year plan continues and reinforces
that framework. View
the Updated 5 Year Plan
While CLC is guided by General Principles and General
Norms and by the Charism Formation Guidelines, still the
need exists to direct individual and community energies
toward specific areas. Within the framework of CLC, goals
are focused to achieve common purpose.
The
plan outlines 5 areas of focus:
-
STRENTGHEN INDIVIDUAL COMMITMENT to CLC way of
life
- Define
CLC PROCESS OF GROWTH
-
BROADEN CLC PRESENCE in the wider community
-
STRENGTHEN OUR COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUITS
in the New York Province
-
PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CLC COMMUNITIES
